Real Overland Park has signed Palestinian striker Nooreldean Salem, the club announced today.
Salem played on loan for the USA team during the 2022 KCAFF World Cup, and proved to be a competent and consistent striker for the team, netting 2 goals in 3 games, scoring against KCAFF powerhouses Germany and Haiti respectively. His goal against Haiti proved to be especially critical, as the Americans won the match 5-4, launching them to the semifinals and eventually taking 4th place in the tournament.
Salem joins a host of attacking players that have signed with Real OP, as the club boasts a formidable offense, featuring the likes of 2022 KCAFF World Cup MVP Ashton Watson, Alex Atzenweiler, and Michael Nichols. Real OP also possesses the largest roster in the Select League with a whopping 13 players plus more TBA in the coming weeks.
